Siemens has developed an in-car technology that uses a special camera and on-board computer to read and interpret road signs and display the information in your field of vision.
This seems like a waste of money to me; why would I want to pay extra for something like this?
IMHO, if you can't see the speed limit signs due to a medical condition or weather, you shouldn't even be driving. If you are doing something distracting and do not see them, you shouldn't be driving, or doing whatever(?!) is distracting you.
It just seems like something else to jack up the price of the vehicle, and more things to break down.
Just my opinion.

We actually need that here in Texas. Nobody seems to know what any of the signs mean or they just ignore them completely.
Of course the computer would have to take control of the car too...
Will it give the Spanish translation? That would probably be the most use for it.
