Mosquito Mega-Catch

An industrial grade mosquito "zapper".
Now if only they could invent one of these that would work on spammers...

I'd like spammers to fry as well!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. The rose is a blue rose, it looks close to a sterling rose but this has thorns. I changed the photo to black and white, you can view the actual photo here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/karen6977/160415373/

Have a good day :-)

Hey Bob -- this looks really interesting. Have you actually tried it? The initial reviews are good re: operability, but does it work over the long term to actually keep mosquitos at bay?

Haven't tried it; I just happen to like checking up on new and wierd gadgets; too many years working with technology, I guess.

Don't they have some seriously big versions of this down in Florida? I mean nuclear-reactor sized.
It might help us here with the damn West Nile virus thing now that the damn Envirotards got the money and are re-planting all the Bay's salt-water marshlands, one square acre of which is capable of generating four million salt-marsh mosquitoes. The idiots hate developers but they're building the west's largest West Nile Hilton...

Hell, in order to work down in Florida, it would probably have to be nuclear POWERED.
